Under-Foundation Storm Shelters

Texas Storm Shelter manufactures underground storm shelters in three standard sizes, with additional customization available for new construction projects. For new builds, we can provide taller shelters and expanded dimensions up to 6′ wide x 10′ long x 7′ tall—or virtually any size needed—offering protection for up to 12 people. Each shelter features fully welded seams inside and out, along with a durable coal-tar epoxy exterior coating designed to help prevent rust and water intrusion.

Our underground garage shelters are also a popular option for new home construction. Builders can plan for a designated void during construction, allowing cabling and structural piers to be built around the shelter for a clean, integrated installation. If you’re planning a new build, we’re happy to coordinate directly with your builder to answer questions and ensure proper preparation.

*Please note that existing concrete foundations may contain post-tension cables. Cutting or altering these cables can potentially void your foundation warranty, so we strongly recommend consulting with your builder before installation. Texas Storm Shelter does not warranty existing foundations, but we can install shelters in pre-existing structures following a property review and with the homeowner’s understanding of any limitations or warranty considerations.
